Golf Solitaire

Golf Solitaire is the classic solitaire card game.

Seven piles of five cards are dealt to the tableau. The next card is placed to the discard pile above the tableaus. The object of the game is to build all cards on the discard pile up or down regardless of suit, wrapping from King to Ace and from Ace to King as necessary. When there no moves to be played, turn over the next card from the stock to the discard pile, and keep trying to eliminate all cards in the tableaus. There is no redeal.

Freecell Solitaire

Freecell Solitaire was invented by Paul Alfille, who also created in 1978 the first computer program to play FreeCell on the PLATO educational computer system in 1978. Later Jim Horne implemented this game for Microsoft Windows that made FreeCell solitaire extremely popular.

Freecell Solitaire

This solitaire uses 52 cards. All cards are dealt into 8 tableau piles. Four cells (to the left) and four foundation piles (to the right) are placed above the tableau piles. Aces are moved to the foundations as they become available.

The object of the game
To build the foundations up in suit to Kings.

The rules
The top cards of tableau piles and cards from cells are available to play. You may build tableau piles down by alternating color. Only one card at a time can be moved. The top card of any tableau pile can also be moved to any cell. Each cell may contain only one card. Cards in the cells can be moved to the foundation piles or back to the tableau piles, if possible. When a tableau pile becomes empty, that space can be filled with a single card from a cell or the bottom card of another tableau.

BVS Solitaire Collection includes FreeCell Solitaire and 8 other FreeCell Solitaire Type games:

  • Baker's Game

  • Big FreeCell

  • Castle

  • Eight Off

  • Penguin

  • Prison

  • Seahaven Towers

  • Stalactites

Spider Solitaire

Spider Solitaire is one of the most popular solitaire card games in the world. It is often named Classic Solitaire Game and "the King of all solitaires". Spider Solitaire is a lot of fun and has to be learned like any game.  At first glance, this challenging and time-consuming game seems to be too complicated. But spider solitaire is a very easy game to play once you get the hang of it.

This solitaire uses two decks (104 cards). You have 10 tableau piles. 54 cards are dealt to these piles (6 cards are dealt to first four piles and 5 cards to the remaining ones). The top card of each pile is face up.

The object of the game
To build 8 sequences down in suit within the tableau (each running from King to Ace) and then move them to 8 foundations.

The rules
The top cards of tableau piles are available to play. You may build tableau piles down regardless of suit, ending at the Ace. You cannot build a King on an Ace. One card at a time can be moved from pile to pile. Groups of cards in sequence of the same suit may be moved as a unit. When any tableaus are empty you can fill the space with any card or group of cards.

When you have made all the moves initially available, click on the stock pile to deal one card onto each tableau pile. All gaps (empty spaces) in the tableau have to be filled before the deal.

There is no redeal.

This rule is equal to having only one suits in the deck. In Spider Two Suit you build sequences down by color and groups of cards in sequence down by color may be moved as a unit. This rule is equal to having only two suits in the deck: "Red" suit and "Black" suit.
